11x17 Print of my original paintinging on paper. A tribute to the Cold War era jets. My goal was to make it look like a postcard. Did it work? The stamps shown are from 1966 when the MiG21 Interceptor was in service. The background was airbrushed first. Mother Russia and the MiG were painted with traditional acrylic methods. The title was done with Copics and the stamps were done with acrylics, Copics, and white ink markers. Model is Toni Darling.
I sold the original at Albuquerque Comic Con.
